Question:
What do a rusted antique bed frame and a 89 year old barn door have in common?
Answer:
They are both part of a garden bench I made.
The last burst of welding on Sunday was the demise of my back. Martin installed it for me today. Bed and Door are from Maggie's farm. I used the bed rails to make the seat & back frame. Seat slope is 8° and back is 12° from vertical - which I find very comfortable. It is bolted to studs which are epoxied into holes drilled in large buried rocks.
