In the 1st pic the water line stubs and electrical conduit emerge from under pump-house NE corner. In 2nd pic, input from well is in the corner, then untreated and treated distrbution lines. The electrical conduit comes up inside the wall. Note: When Robby was very young he used to call me Gandpa, so thats the way I signed the pad.

It takes a lot of plumbing to implement my requirements for 3 selectable water sources, 2 selectable pressure pumps, 2 outputs (treated and untreated), keep 2 tanks full automatically (500 gal and 15,000 gal), etc. etc.

From the top of the big gray retention tank the water passes though the small gray activated charcoal filter. All remaining chlorine and precipitation products are removed.

After 50+ years of service the green pressure tank rusted though and I replaced it with the blue tank a few years ago. About the same time, I noted a small delamination and leak in the 30-year-old gray fiberglass retention tank. Several bands of glass cloth and epoxy fixed it.

The NW corner is still waiting for 2 more pumps. #1) Electric 1" pump and pressure tank for independent untreated water distribution. #2) Gas powered 2" pump for firefighting.
